I’ve been thinking that instead of writing a desktop client for each 37signals app (Backpack and Basecamp in particular), it would be better to write one app that let the user use data from both web applications. However, I’m not sure what this would look like. Let me know what you think of this idea in the comments below. I really like the way the web apps are available by the OpenBar – it would be great if there was a way to leverage that (especially for those that have/need access to multiple accounts).
